Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Bangalore Biryani, we take immense pride in our slow-cooked firewood dum preparation. Because our cooking process begins hours in advance, strict cancellation protocols are necessary to minimize food waste and maintain our premium standards.

1. Standard Delivery Orders (Single Plates & Buckets)

• Cancellation Window: Standard daily orders can only be cancelled within 5 minutes of order placement. Once the kitchen ticket is printed and preparation begins, the order cannot be cancelled.
• Refunds: If cancelled within the 5-minute window, a 100% refund will be initiated to your original payment method. Processing takes 3-5 business days depending on your bank.

2. Bulk Orders & Copper Handis (1 KG+)

• Because our copper handis are sealed with dough (dum) specifically for your order, cancellations must be made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled dispatch time.
• Cancellations made after this window will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

3. Wedding & Event Catering Packages

Event logistics require extensive procurement through our parent company, Make My Occasion.

• Booking Advance: A non-refundable advance of 40% is required to secure the date and initiate procurement.
• Cancellation: If an event is cancelled up to 15 days prior to the date, no additional charges will be levied. The 40% advance remains non-refundable.
• Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event will be billed for 80% of the total invoice value to cover perishable goods and logistical labor costs.

4. Quality Disputes & Replacements

If you receive an incorrect order or if the product does not meet our strict quality standards, please contact our operational leads (Sultan or Imran) immediately via WhatsApp with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement order or process a refund at our discretion following a review.
